Terms of Service

These terms govern every PrimeCare home medical visit. Please read them before requesting an appointment.

Scope of Services

Home medical services include, but are not limited to:

stethoscopeMedical consultation and physical examination.
clinical_notesGeneral medical assessment and management.
medicationMedication review and prescription where clinically indicated.
monitor_heartBlood pressure, blood sugar, and other basic clinical assessments.
healingWound care, wound management with dressing changes, and suture removal.
vaccinesMinor bedside procedures that can be safely performed outside an operating theatre and do not require general anesthesia or advanced monitoring.
bedPost-operative follow-up.
timelineChronic disease monitoring.
shareReferral to hospitals or specialists whenever necessary.

Services Not Provided

The following services are not provided during home visits:

blockEmergency or life-saving treatment.
blockMajor surgical procedures.
blockProcedures requiring an operating theatre, sedation, or general anesthesia.
blockIntensive care management.
blockObstetric deliveries.
blockAny procedure that cannot be safely performed in a home setting.
emergencyIf an emergency is identified, the patient or family will be advised to seek immediate hospital care or contact emergency medical services.

Consultation Fee

paymentsConsultation fees are payable at the time of the visit unless otherwise agreed.
receipt_longCharges for procedures, dressings, consumables, medications, and laboratory sample collection (if arranged) are separate from the consultation fee or will provided by family.
directions_carTravel charges may apply depending on distance.

Cancellation Policy

timerAppointments cancelled less than 2 hours before the scheduled visit may incur a cancellation fee.
person_offIf the doctor arrives and the patient is unavailable, the visit may be charged.

Patient Responsibilities

Patients or caregivers agree to:

assignmentProvide complete and accurate medical information.
warningInform the doctor of allergies, medications, and existing illnesses.
cleaning_servicesProvide a safe and clean environment for examination and procedures.
lightbulbEnsure adequate lighting and reasonable privacy or Chaperon.
supervisor_accountArrange a responsible caregiver to be present for elderly, disabled, or cognitively impaired patients.

Clinical Decision-Making

The doctor reserves the right to:

shieldDecline to perform any procedure considered unsafe in a home environment.
local_hospitalRecommend hospital admission if the patient's condition requires further investigation or treatment.
pan_toolStop a procedure if patient safety becomes a concern.

Prescriptions

prescriptionsPrescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate after assessment.
do_not_disturb_onThe doctor reserves the right not to prescribe medications that are medically unnecessary or unsafe.

Infection Prevention

Patients should inform the doctor in advance if they have a contagious illness. Appropriate infection control measures will be followed during every visit.

Limitation of Service

Home medical care has inherent limitations compared to hospital-based care. Some conditions require investigations, imaging, specialist consultation, or hospital admission, which cannot be provided during home visits.

Acceptance

By requesting a home visit, the patient or their authorized representative acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
